  • WHAT WE DO

We connect inspired professionals with inspiring careers.

    Talent

We gather sharp, ambitious, and passionate professionals who are hungry for meaningful work — people who want to use their skills and talent to make the world a better place.

    Clients

We serve organizations of all types that are dedicated to addressing social and environmental issues, by helping them find the talent they need to reach their full potential.

    Short-term Projects

Clients come to us with a specific project they need completed, and we handpick the most qualified people from our talent pool to make it happen. When the job is done, they return to our pool. No headaches, no long-term commitment—just results.

    Full-time Placements

Clients come to us with a position they need to fill. We bring them candidates from our talent pool who look like a perfect fit, make introductions, and can even help scope trial projects so the client can see them in action before making a final decision.

  • Our Story

We are a team of young professionals that are
determined to help people find work that they love

We’ve spent the last five years earning our degrees, traveling around the globe, and working on all sorts of projects for organizations big and small—all with a relentless desire to find work that inspires us, challenges us, and also pays the bills.

We’ve realized that there’s no road map for finding meaningful work, no structured career path for people to figure out where and how they can make a difference, no community of people dedicated to this pursuit.

So that is exactly what we’re building.

    Why

    Why does this matter?

After talking with hundreds of our peers along the way, we’ve discovered that we’re not alone. In fact, the whole workforce is changing. There was once a time when a good salary and the promise of moving up the company ladder was enough. Today, organizations are being challenged by the best and the brightest to think harder about the way they do business. Top talent across the world see fundamental problems undermining our society, and are demanding to be an active part of the solution. This generation of leaders and innovators will not settle to work for companies that can’t see beyond business as usual, and refuse to do their part.

We believe that no one should have to choose between making money and making a difference in the world. We believe that organizations working day and night to improve people’s lives deserve the most talented, committed, and passionate professionals out there to support their efforts. And in connecting our generation’s very best with these forward-thinking organizations, we believe there’s an incredible opportunity for all of us to re-think, re-imagine, and re-define the very notion of “work.”

That’s Why we set out to build rework.

    Projects

Our talent is already working to support
high-impact organizations. Here are two examples:

    Nine Mile Run Watershed Association

We put together a team of five and partnered with nonprofit consultants from Dewey & Kaye to develop a full-scale business plan for StormWorks, the social enterprise arm of the Nine Mile Run Watershed Association. Our team conducted market research and produced all deliverables including written plans for marketing, operations, financing, and management. The StormWorks business plan secured $260,000 from the Richard King Mellon Foundation.

    PlayPower

We’ve provided ongoing capacity in the form of application and grant writing support for PlayPower, a nonprofit that develops affordable learning games for kids in developing countries. Our talent was responsible for writing a winning grant application to the White House-sponsored National STEM Video Game Challenge ($50,000 prize) and a Sprout Fund sponsored Spark award.
